MyneApp
Myne app is a VISA-certified digital wallet powered by Liberty Latin America, a telecom company with a strong presence in Central America and the Caribbean.
Project overview
The app features a quick and secure onboarding process that requires proof of life, obtains user information for a risk assessment, and finally gives the user a loan. The app also connects with VISA services to perform NFC payments. It allows users to manage their credit cards, check transactions and statements, and more.
Execution
We were assigned the wallet’s design and frontend development. Together with the client, we worked on the user journey and crafted a fantastic user experience. The biggest challenge was making a heavy onboarding process as quick and easy as possible. Also, we needed an app that worked well on small-screen devices and with poor internet connections.
Project results
The result was an easy-to-use digital wallet that gives credit access to people outside the banking system. The wallet was successfully launched in Jamaica, laying the foundation for expansion to other countries coming soon. We built this product following the latest industry standards, matching category leaders like Revolut and Nubank.
